The Dialynne Beagles were founded back in the 1950's by Marion Spavin. Her foundation bitch (Derawuda Vanity) was mated to the Canadian import Barvae Benroe Winkles to produce the first of what proved to be many home-bred Dialynne champions, Ch Dialynne Huntsman.

Huntsman was a prolific stud dog. His son, Ch Dialynne Ponder, was used on a Huntsman daughter to produce the lovely lemon bitch, Ch Dialynne Nettle. When Nettle was mated to the USA import, Appeline Validay Happy Feller, she produced the legendary Ch Dialynne Gamble who changed the modern British Beagle for all time, siring 26 UK champions alone.

In turn, Gamble's most famous son, Ch Soloman of Dialynne (out of Gamble's own great grand-daughter), equalled his sire's record of 26 UK champions, and more recently Soloman's own son, Ch Dialynne Tolliver of Tragband (out of a daughter of the Breed Record Holder, Ch Too Darn Hot for Tragband, and bred at Dialynne), was the Top Stud Dog of All Breeds in 1999.

There have been in excess of 60 British champions made up by Dialynne, and literally hundreds carrying the affix have won their titles overseas.

The kennel is one of the largest strongholds of the breed in Britain today, and is run alongside a luxury boarding kennel and cattery.

Show quality and companion beagle puppies are usually available, either bred by Dialynne or sired by one of the strong stud team. Visitors are always welcome and exports are dealt with personally.

Many exhibitors have made up their first champion having come to Dialynne for a show quality puppy, whilst many breeders have bred their first champion having used a Dialynne stud dog.

The present stud team includes the group winning Ch Storm Away of Dialynne, CH Dialynne Masterpiece, CH Dialynne Shelaft Woolly Willewin, Dialynne Apollo (2 CC's) & Dialynne Maximus.

Marion Spavin, Dianna Spavin and Stuart Milner are championship show judges of the breed, and Marion is a vastly experienced "all rounder" whose appointments have included the Hound Group at Crufts 1999.
Grandaughter Melanie (the 3rd Generation!) now handles and owns most of the Dialynne Beagles and Tibetan Terriers.
